Sukta 2.3
नराशंसः प्रति धामान्यञ्जन्तिस्रो दिवः प्रति मह्ना स्वर्चिः । घृतप्रुषा मनसा हव्यमुन्दन्मूर्धन्यज्ञस्य समनक्तु देवान् ॥
narāśáṃsaḥ práti dhā́māny añjan tisró dívaḥ práti mahnā́ sv-arcíḥ | ghṛtá-pruṣā mánasā hávyam úndan mū́rdhan yajñásya sám anaktu devā́n ||
நராஶம்ஸன் தாமங்களைத் தீப்பற்றி எழச் செய்து, தன் ச்வர்சி (சுயத் தீப்தி) யால் மகிமையில் மூன்று விண்களையும் நோக்கி ஒளிர்வானாக. க்ருத-ப்ருஷ (நெய்-ஒளி துளிரும்) மனத்துடன் ஹவ்யத்தை ஊற்றிக் கொண்டு, யாகத்தின் மூர்தனில் தேவர்களை அபிஷேகம் செய்வானாக.
