Sukta 2.24
योऽवरे वृजने विश्वथा विभुर्महामु रण्वः शवसा ववक्षिथ । स देवो देवान्प्रति पप्रथे पृथु विश्वेदु ता परिभूर्ब्रह्मणस्पतिः ॥
yó ’váre vṛjáné viśváthā vibhúr mahā́m u raṇváḥ śávasā vavákṣitha | sá devó devā́n práti papráthe pṛthú víśved u tā́ paribhū́r bráhmaṇas pátiḥ ||
அவர் அவர வ்ரஜனே (தாழ்ந்த களத்திலும்) எங்கும் விபுவாக இருப்பவர்; மகத்தானவர், இனிமையுடையவர், ஷவஸ் (வலிமை) கொண்டு வளர்ந்தவர். அந்த தேவன், தேவர்களுக்கே எதிராகவும் விரிந்து பரந்தான்; இவ்வுலகங்கள் அனைத்தையும் சுற்றி, பிரஹ்மணஸ்பதி ‘பரிபூ’ (சூழ்ந்து மீறி நிற்பவன்) ஆக நிலைகொள்கிறான்.
