Sukta 2.20
स नो युवेन्द्रो जोहूत्रः सखा शिवो नरामस्तु पाता । यः शंसन्तं यः शशमानमूती पचन्तं च स्तुवन्तं च प्रणेषत् ॥
sá no yúvendro johū́traḥ sákhā śivó narā́m astu pātā́ | yáḥ śáṃsantaṃ yáḥ śaśamānám ūtī́ pácantaṃ ca stuvántaṃ ca prá-neṣat ||
எங்களுக்காக இளைய இந்திரன்—அழைப்பை ஏற்றுக் கொள்ளும் நண்பன்—கல்யாணமிக்கவன், மனிதர்களின் காவலன் ஆகட்டும். யார் புகழ்ந்து உரைப்பவனையும், உழைப்பவனையும், (யாகத்தில்) சமைத்து/தயார்ப்பவனையும், போற்றுபவனையும்—தன் ஊதி (உதவி) கொண்டு முன்னே நடத்துகிறானோ (அவனே).
