prá vātā́ iva dódhata út mā pītā́ ayaṃsata | kuvít sómasyāpā́m ití ||

காற்றுகள் போல முன்னே பாய்ந்து (அவை) என்னை உலுக்கியன; நான் அருந்திய பானங்கள் என்னை மேலே உயர்த்தின. ஒருவேளை இந்த உயர்வு சோமத்தின் ஆபः இலிருந்தே வருகிறது.
