Sukta 1.167
जोषद्यदीमसुर्या सचध्यै विषितस्तुका रोदसी नृमणाः । आ सूर्येव विधतो रथं गात्त्वेषप्रतीका नभसो नेत्या ॥
jóṣad yád īm asuryā́ sacádhyai víṣita-stukā rodasī́ nṛmánāḥ | ā́ sū́ryeva vidható ráthaṃ gāt tveṣá-pratīkā nábhaso nétyā ||
அசுர்ய (ஆட்சி-வல்லமை) அவர்களுடன் சேர்ந்து செல்ல ஒப்புக்கொள்ளும் போது, இரு உலகங்களும் (ரோதஸீ) வீரத்திற்காக ஆவலுடன், ஒளிரும் சிகைபோன்ற பிரகாசத்தால் தூண்டப்பட்டு நகர்கின்றன. சூரியனைப் போல அது வழிபடுபவனின் ரதத்தை நோக்கிச் செல்கிறது—எரியும் வடிவுடன்—வானத்தின் வெளிகளில் வழி நடத்திச் செல்கிறது.
