Sukta 1.144
अभीमृतस्य दोहना अनूषत योनौ देवस्य सदने परीवृताः । अपामुपस्थे विभृतो यदावसदध स्वधा अधयद्याभिरीयते ॥
abhī́m ṛtásya dohánā anūṣata yónau devásya sádane párī-vṛtāḥ | apā́m upásthe ví-bhṛto yád ā́vasad ádha svadhā́ ádhayad yā́bhir ī́yate ||
அவனைச் சுற்றி ருதத்தின் ‘தோஹனங்கள்’ (பாலோட்டங்கள்) ஒலித்தன—தேவனின் ஸதனத்தில், யோனிக்குள், சுற்றிலும் மூடப்பட்டவையாக. அபாம் (நீர்கள்) எனும் நீரின் மடியில் தாங்கப்பட்டு அவன் வந்து தங்கியபோது, அவன் ஸ்வதா-வை ஓடச் செய்தான்—அந்த சக்திகளாலேயே அவன் தொடர்ந்து பயணிக்கிறான்.
