न मे विकाङ्क्षा जायेत त्यक्तुं त्वां पापनिश्चयाम्।यदि रामस्य नावेक्षा त्वयि स्यान्मातृवत्सदा।।।।
na me vikāṅkṣā jāyeta tyaktuṃ tvāṃ pāpaniścayām |
yadi rāmasya nāvekṣā tvayi syān mātṛvat sadā ||
ராமன் எப்போதும் உன்னைத் தாயெனக் கருதவில்லை என்றால், பாவத் தீர்மானத்தில் நிலைத்த உன்னை விட்டுவிட எனக்கு சிறிதும் தயக்கம் இருக்காது.
