राजानं मानुषं प्राहु र्देवत्वे सम्मतो मम।यस्य धर्मार्थसहितं वृत्तमाहुरमानुषम्।।2.101.4।।
rājānaṃ mānuṣaṃ prāhur devatve sammato mama | yasya dharmārthasahitaṃ vṛttam āhur amānuṣam || 2.101.4 ||
மக்கள் அரசனை மனிதன் என்கிறார்கள்; ஆனால் எனக்கோ அவர் தெய்வத்தன்மை உடையவர்— தர்மமும் அர்த்தமும் இணைந்த அவரது நடத்தை மனித அளவை மீறியது எனப் புகழப்படுகிறது.
