अत॑न्द्रो या॒स्यन् ह॒रितो॒ यदास्था॒द् द्वे रू॒पे कृ॑णुते॒ रोच॑मानः । के॒तु॒मानु॒द्यन्त्सह॑मानो॒ रजां॑सि॒ विश्वा॑ आदित्य प्र॒वतो॒ वि भा॑सि

Sanskrit recitationAtharva Veda 13.2.28

atándro yāsyán haríto yád āsthā́d dvé rūpé kṛṇute rócamānaḥ | ketumā́n udyán sáhamāno rájāṃsi víśvā āditya právato ví bhāsi ||

Unwearied, when he goeth and hath mounted the bay steeds, shining he maketh for himself two forms. Bannered, rising, overpowering all the regions, O Āditya, thou beamest forth along every slope and course.

சோர்வில்லாமல், அவர் செல்லும்போது ஹரித (பச்சை/பழுப்பு) குதிரைகளில் ஏறியவுடன், ஒளிமிக்கவனாய் தமக்கென இரண்டு ரூபங்களை அமைக்கிறான். கேதுமான் (கொடியுடையவன்), உதயமாய், எல்லா திசை/பரப்புகளையும் வென்று—ஓ ஆதித்யா, நீ ஒவ்வொரு சரிவிலும் பாதையிலும் பிரகாசத்தைப் பரப்புகிறாய்.
