agnír hí jā́ni pū́rvyaś chándo ná sū́ro arcíṣā | té bhānúbhir ví tasthire ||
Translation
Агни воистину — древний, изначально-рождённый Знающий, как солнце гимна, сияющий пламенем; его лучами эти силы выступают и занимают свои места, распростёртые в просторе.
