एष स्तोमो मह उग्राय वाहे धुरीवात्यो न वाजयन्नधायि । इन्द्र त्वायमर्क ईट्टे वसूनां दिवीव द्यामधि नः श्रोमतं धाः ॥

Transliteration

eṣá stómो mahá ugrā́ya vā́he dhurī́v ā́tyo ná vājáyan adhāyi | índra tvā́yam arká ī́ṭṭe vásūnāṃ divī́va dyā́m ádhi naḥ śrómataṃ dhāḥ ||

Translation

Этот гимн возложен на великого и грозного, на Носителя: как впряжённый конь, мчащийся к полноте силы, он установлен. О Индра, этот арк обращается к тебе о богатствах; даруй нам слух, высокий, как само небо, — славу, утверждённую на светлом своде.
