Sukta 5.34
आ यः सोमेन जठरमपिप्रतामन्दत मघवा मध्वो अन्धसः । यदीं मृगाय हन्तवे महावधः सहस्रभृष्टिमुशना वधं यमत् ॥
ā́ yaḥ sómena jaṭháram apípratām ámandata maghávā́ mádhvo ándhasaḥ | yadī́ṃ mṛgā́ya hántave mahā́vadhaḥ sahásrabhṛṣṭim uśánā́ vadháṃ yámat ||
Тот, кто с Сомой наполнил чрево и возрадовался — щедрый — от мёдного напитка: когда он возжелал поразить «дикого зверя», противящегося, оружием тысячелезвийным, тогда риши Ушанас утвердил для него ту силу убиения.
