Sukta 3.2
क्रत्वा दक्षस्य तरुषो विधर्मणि देवासो अग्निं जनयन्त चित्तिभिः । रुरुचानं भानुना ज्योतिषा महामत्यं न वाजं सनिष्यन्नुप ब्रुवे ॥
kratvā́ dákṣasya tárūṣo vídharmaṇi devā́so agníṁ janayanta cítti-bhiḥ | rurucānám bhānúnā jyótiṣā mahā́m atyáṁ ná vā́jaṁ saniṣyán úpa bruve ||
Крату — сознательной волей, и дакшей — действенной силой-умением, в устроенном законе правого деяния (vi-dharmaṇi) боги рождают Агни светозарными прозрениями (citti). Его, сияющего лучом и светом, великого, как скакун простора, — я призываю, стремясь обрести vāja (победную мощь, добычу).
