अग्निं सूनुं सनश्रुतं सहसो जातवेदसम् । वह्निं देवा अकृण्वत ॥

agníṃ sūnúṃ sanaśrútaṃ sáhaso jā́tavedasam | váhniṃ devā́ akṛṇvata ||

Агни — сын Сахаса (Силы), прославленный издавна, Джатаведас, знающий рождения; его боги сделали вахни — несущей силой, носителем. Так божественные силы утверждают в нас Огонь, способный нести приношение и становление.
