Sukta 121
úd agātāṃ bhágavatī vicṛ́tau nā́ma tāraké | préhā́mṛtasya yacchatāṃ práitu baddhaká-mócanam
Up let the blessed two go forth—Vichṛtā by name, O Starry Guides. Here grant ye of immortality: let the release of the bound depart forth.
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (anukramaṇī attribution varies).
Devata: Vicṛtā (dual) and Tārakā (star/guiding power); amṛta as the boon.
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh-like (two pādas per line; metrical regularity varies by recension).
Primary: adbhuta
Secondary: shanta
