ágné yát te tápaḥ ténā táṃ práti tapa yó ’smā́n dvéṣṭi yáṃ vayáṃ dvíṣmaḥ
O Agni, with that ardour which is thine—therewith scorch him in requital, who hateth us, whom we account our foe.
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (often transmitted under Atharvan/Āṅgirasa attribution for such apotropaic hymns; specific r̥ṣi ascription depends on the Anukramaṇī).
Devata: Agni (as punitive and apotropaic fire-power; tapas personified through Agni).
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh (probable; confirmable against pada-count in a critical metrical check).
Primary: raudra
Secondary: vira
