Soma Pavamāna

उत्ते शुष्मास ईरते सिन्धोरूर्मेरिव स्वनः । वाणस्य चोदया पविम् ॥
Erguem-se as tuas forças potentes; como o bramido de uma vaga de rio é o teu som. Impulsiona o paví — o gume da Palavra que abre caminho.
Mantra 2
प्रसवे त उदीरते तिस्रो वाचो मखस्युवः । यदव्य एषि सानवि ॥
Por teu impulso erguem-se as três palavras, em busca do sacrifício, quando tu caminhas sobre a lã de ovelha, sobre a crista do coador.
Mantra 3
अव्यो वारे परि प्रियं हरिं हिन्वन्त्यद्रिभिः । पवमानं मधुश्चुतम् ॥
Em torno do amado fulvo, no recinto de lã, impelam-no com as pedras de prensar — Soma, que a si mesmo se purifica, gotejando doçura.

आ पवस्व मदिन्तम पवित्रं धारया कवे । अर्कस्य योनिमासदम् ॥
Purifica-te e vem, ó o mais inebriante, através do filtro, em corrente que corre, ó vidente; toma assento no seio do hino, em sua fonte.

स पवस्व मदिन्तम गोभिरञ्जानो अक्तुभिः । इन्दविन्द्राय पीतये ॥
Ó tu, o mais doador de êxtase inebriante, purifica‑te, ungido com raios e fulgores luminosos; ó gota de Soma, torna‑te bebida para Indra.
