Sukta 5.46
हयो न विद्वाँ अयुजि स्वयं धुरि तां वहामि प्रतरणीमवस्युवम् । नास्या वश्मि विमुचं नावृतं पुनर्विद्वान्पथः पुरएत ऋजु नेषति ॥
háyo ná vidvā́ṃ ayúji svayáṃ dhurí tā́ṃ vahāmi prátaraṇīm avasyúvam | nā́syā vaśmi vi-múcaṃ nā́vṛtaṃ púnar vidvā́n patháḥ pura-etá ṛjú néṣati ||
Como um corcel conhecedor, eu mesmo me uno ao jugo; levo-a adiante — a força vitoriosa que busca amparo. Não desejo sua soltura nem seu retrocesso; o conhecedor, indo à frente, conduz de novo em linha reta pelos caminhos.
