Sukta 2.2
ये स्तोतृभ्यो गोअग्रामश्वपेशसमग्ने रातिमुपसृजन्ति सूरयः । अस्माञ्च ताँश्च प्र हि नेषि वस्य आ बृहद्वदेम विदथे सुवीराः ॥
yé stotṛ́bhyo gó-agrām áśva-peśasam agne rātím upasṛjánti sū́rayaḥ | asmā́ṃś ca tā́ṃś ca prá hí néṣi vásyaḥ ā́ bṛhád vadema vidáthē su-vī́rāḥ ||
Esses doadores iluminados que soltam aos cantores a dádiva —levando à frente os raios da Luz e revestidos da força do corcel—, ó Agni, conduz adiante tanto a eles quanto a nós para o bem melhor. Que digamos o Vasto nas assembleias do vidatha do sacrifício, possuidores de poder heroico.
