Sukta 1.53
समिन्द्र राया समिषा रभेमहि सं वाजेभिः पुरुश्चन्द्रैरभिद्युभिः । सं देव्या प्रमत्या वीरशुष्मया गोअग्रयाश्वावत्या रभेमहि ॥
sám indra rāyā́ sám iṣā́ rabhémahi sám vājébhiḥ puru-candrāír abhidyúbhiḥ | sám devyā́ prámatyā vīrá-śuṣmayā gó-agrayā́śvāvatyā rabhémahi ||
Ó Indra, com rāyā, a riqueza, e com iṣā, o impulso divino, possamos tomar posse; com vāja, as plenitudes de força, com luzes de muitos brilhos. Com a deusa Pramatī, a inteligência reta, e com ardor heroico, com as primeiras «vacas» dos raios e com os cavalos da rapidez, possamos tomar posse.
