Sukta 1.101
रुद्राणामेति प्रदिशा विचक्षणो रुद्रेभिर्योषा तनुते पृथु ज्रयः । इन्द्रं मनीषा अभ्यर्चति श्रुतं मरुत्वन्तं सख्याय हवामहे ॥
rudrā́ṇām eti prádiśā vicakṣaṇó rudrébhir yóṣā tanute pṛthú járyaḥ | índraṁ manīṣā́ abhy àrcati śrutáṁ marútvantaṁ sakhyā́ya havāmahe ||
Ele se move nas direções dos Rudra, o vidente de ampla visão; com os Rudra, o poder juvenil estende o amplo jugo do atrelamento. Nosso pensamento inspirado entoa a Indra, o Bem-Ouvido — a esse Indra, com os Marut, chamamos para a amizade, para a aliança.
