Sukta 9.97
सोमं गावो धेनवो वावशानाः सोमं विप्रा मतिभिः पृच्छमानाः । सोमः सुतः पूयते अज्यमानः सोमे अर्कास्त्रिष्टुभः सं नवन्ते ॥
sómaṃ gā́vo dhenávo vāvaśānā́ḥ sómaṃ víprā matíbhiḥ pṛcchámānāḥ | sómaḥ sutáḥ pū́yate ájyamānaḥ sóme arkā́s triṣṭúbhaḥ sám navante ||
Promienie (krowy) i moce karmiące (krowy mleczne) wołają o Somę; oświeceni wieszcze szukają Somy swoimi ruchami myśli. Soma, wyciśnięty, jest oczyszczany, gdy jest namaszczany; w Somie hymny, miary Trisztubh, ściskają się i odradzają.
