Sukta 9.69
Na przedpolu wydaje swoje szeroko płynące strumienie; nawet w swoich ustalonych prawach i działaniach Soma parł naprzód, by wypełnić obrzęd w nas.
Soma-pavamāna cycle: purification through the fleece/filter (pavitra) in Soma sacrifices (e.g., Agniṣṭoma/related Soma-yāgas); used as a chant/recitation accompanying the flowing and filtering of Soma.
Ṛta (ordered right movement implied through vrata), Vrata (law/constraint as form of truth-action), Rasa/Ānanda (Soma as delight-essence)
Soma advances ‘within the laws’—true growth is not chaotic ecstasy but ordered widening.
Directed mati is a movement toward satya; the wide streams are truth-bearing when aligned with ṛta.
The worlds are sustained by streams of Soma; the seeker reenacts this in the inner sacrifice.
Integral psychological exegesis: discipline (vrata) as a channel for Ananda’s descent and expansion.
Arrow/bow = concentrated aspiration held by tapas-like tension; calf/udder = the soul’s movement to its source; streams = descending currents of delight and illumination.
One-point the intention (arrow) and let it run to the inner source of sweetness; receive wide streams without losing discipline.
Ājñā (aim) and Anāhata (nourishment/flow)
Inhale: silently ‘draw the bow’ (gather attention). Exhale: ‘release the arrow’ (offer thought upward). Then rest in a soft, continuous breath as the ‘streams’ descend.
Focused aspiration → receptive flow-state.
Choose a single inner aim (truth, peace, or light). Hold it steadily for several breaths, then relax into receptivity; keep a simple vrata (time, posture, sincerity) so the flow becomes stable.
Vedic accents per Śākala; obtain exact udātta/anudātta/svarita from a svara-marked RV text for RV 9.69.1.
Let the first pāda feel ‘taut’ and aimed; slightly emphasize the similes (iṣur… vatso…) without breaking meter.
(dhanvan): keep ‘nv’ cluster light, (ūdhani): long ū; dental dh, (urudhārā): roll the ‘r’ gently; long ā, (vrateṣu): retroflex ṛ clear; ṣu crisp
Focused, bright, forward-moving; avoid overly soft delivery in the first half.
