Sukta 7.16
स मन्द्रया च जिह्वया वह्निरासा विदुष्टरः । अग्ने रयिं मघवद्भ्यो न आ वह हव्यदातिं च सूदय ॥
sá mandráyā ca jihváyā váhnir āsā́ vidúṣṭaraḥ | ágne rayíṃ maghávadbhyo na ā́ vaha havyádātiṃ ca sūdaya ||
Z radosnym językiem i z ustami, niosący ofiarę, najbardziej świadomy, o Agni, przynieś nam pełnię dla hojnych, i uruchom dawanie oblaty, właściwą wymianę z bogami.
Invocation for rayi and for effective havya-dāti (successful offering); emphasizes Agni’s role as carrier through speech and mouth of the rite.
knowledge (vid) guiding action, plenitude (rayi) as fullness of being, effective exchange (yajña as reciprocity)
Havyadāti as ṛta in action: the right circulation between planes.
‘Most knowing’ indicates truth-conscious guidance within action.
Transformation: offerings become forces and forms of plenitude.
Yoga of works (karma-yoga prototype) in Vedic form: consecration, exchange, and descent of strength.
Fire = transformative will; tongue = discriminative flame; mouth = expressive mantra-force; oblation = consecrated energy.
Unite joy with discernment; let offerings (thoughts, impulses) be carried upward without strain.
manipura
Kapalabhati (mild, if appropriate) then steady breathing with attention on the navel-flame.
Active luminous will; joyful efficiency.
Before action, repeat the mantra 3–9 times; feel the ‘tongue of fire’ sorting what to accept and what to release; offer one desire into the flame; ask for rayi as right means, not mere gain.
Observe udātta prominence on agné and key action verbs (ā vaha, sūdaya) as per śākhā; keep svarita transitions smooth.
Let the second pāda land strongly on ‘viduṣṭaraḥ’; then a clear imperative tone on ‘ā vaha’ and ‘sūdaya’.
mandrayā: keep ‘dr’ cluster clear., jihvayā: pronounce jihvā with voiced jh and long ā., vahniḥ: aspirate h lightly; do not drop visarga effect at end if chanting in sandhi context., havyadātim: keep ‘vy’ glide; long ā in dātiṃ.
Bright, forward, confident; articulate imperatives.
