स मर्तो अग्ने स्वनीक रेवानमर्त्ये य आजुहोति हव्यम् । स देवता वसुवनिं दधाति यं सूरिरर्थी पृच्छमान एति ॥

Transliteration

sá márto agne svanīka revā́n amártye yá ājuhóti havyám | sá devátā vasuvánim dadhāti yáṃ sūrír arthī pṛcchámāna éti ||

Translation

Ten śmiertelnik, o Agni, promienny w swoim własnym świetle, staje się bogaty w pełnię, kto składa ofiarę tobie, Nieśmiertelnemu. On ustanawia moce boskie i zdobywa prawdziwe bogactwo, jego szukający patron pyta z zapytaniem.
