Sukta 6.9
अयं होता प्रथमः पश्यतेममिदं ज्योतिरमृतं मर्त्येषु । अयं स जज्ञे ध्रुव आ निषत्तोऽमर्त्यस्तन्वा वर्धमानः ॥
ayáṃ hótā prathamáḥ páśyate mám idáṃ jyótir amṛ́taṃ mártyeṣu | ayáṃ sá jajñe dhrúvá ā́ ni-sattó 'mártyas tanvā́ vardhamā́naḥ ||
To jest Hotṛ, który pierwszy ogląda, to nieśmiertelne Światło wśród śmiertelnych. To jest on: zrodzony i trwale osadzony, bezśmiertny, wzrastający przez własne ciało, swoją obecność w nas.
