Sukta 6.61
इयं शुष्मेभिर्बिसखा इवारुजत्सानु गिरीणां तविषेभिरूर्मिभिः । पारावतघ्नीमवसे सुवृक्तिभिः सरस्वतीमा विवासेम धीतिभिः ॥
iyaṃ śuṣmebhir bisakhāḥ-ivārujat sānu girīṇāṃ taviṣebhir ūrmi-bhiḥ | pārāvata-ghnīm avase suvṛkti-bhiḥ sarasvatīm ā vivāsema dhīti-bhiḥ ||
Ona swymi siłami przełamała jak ten, kto wyrywa łodygi lotosu; swymi potężnymi falami roztrzaskała grzbiety gór. Zabójczyni tego, co 'dalekie', dla naszej pomocy, z dobrymi wypowiedziami i natchnionymi myślami chcielibyśmy przyciągnąć Sarasvati blisko i sprawić, by z nami mieszkała.
