Sukta 6.24
न यं जरन्ति शरदो न मासा न द्याव इन्द्रमवकर्शयन्ति । वृद्धस्य चिद्वर्धतामस्य तनूः स्तोमेभिरुक्थैश्च शस्यमाना ॥
ná yaṃ járanti śarádo ná māsā́ ná dyā́va índram avakarśáyanti | vṛ́ddhasya cid vardhatām asya tanū́ḥ stómebhir uktháiś ca śasyámānā ||
Nie zużywają go pory roku, ani miesiące; dni nie pociągają Indry w dół. Nawet tego, który wzrósł i jest odwieczny, niech wzrasta jego ciało mocy, chwalone i objawione przez nasze hymny i uroczyste słowa.
