रथं युञ्जते मरुतः शुभे सुखं शूरो न मित्रावरुणा गविष्टिषु । रजांसि चित्रा वि चरन्ति तन्यवो दिवः सम्राजा पयसा न उक्षतम् ॥
ráthaṃ yuñjate marútaḥ śubhé súkhaṃ śū́ro ná mitrāvaruṇā gáv-iṣṭiṣu | rajā́ṃsi citrā́ ví caranti tanyávo diváḥ samrājā pàyasā na ukṣatam ||
Marutowie zaprzęgają swój rydwan do jasnego i szczęśliwego ruchu, jak wojownicy w poszukiwaniu Światła; a różnorodne grzmoty przemierzają przestrzenie. O współkrólowie nieba, Mitro i Waruno, zlejcie na nas swoje mleko pożywienia, waszą podtrzymującą istotę.
