Sukta 4.22
ता तू त इन्द्र महतो महानि विश्वेष्वित्सवनेषु प्रवाच्या । यच्छूर धृष्णो धृषता दधृष्वानहिं वज्रेण शवसाविवेषीः ॥
tā́ tū́ te indra maható mahā́ni víśveṣv ít sávanēṣu pra-vā́cyā | yác chū́ra dhṛṣṇó dhṛṣátā dadhṛṣvā́n áhīṃ vájreṇa śávasā́viveṣīḥ ||
Te zaiste, o Indro, są twoimi wielkimi czynami Wielkiego, do głłoszenia w każdym wyciskaniu. Ty bowiem, o bohaterze, śmiały ze śmiałą siłą, całkowicie odważny, uderzyłeś węża piorunem swą potęgą.
