सुन्वन्ति सोमं रथिरासो अद्रयो निरस्य रसं गविषो दुहन्ति ते । दुहन्त्यूधरुपसेचनाय कं नरो हव्या न मर्जयन्त आसभिः ॥
sunvánti sómaṃ rathirā́so ádrayo nír asya rásaṃ gavíṣo duhanti té | duhánty ū́dhar upa-sécanāya káṃ naro havyā́ ná marjayanta ā́sabhiḥ ||
Kamienie tłoczące, szybkie w swoim ruchu, wyciskają Somę; wydobywając jej istotę, szukając świetlistych stad, one ją doją. Doją wymię dla wylania; silne dusze polerują ofiary jakby swoimi ustami, czyniąc obrządek godnym dla bogów wewnątrz.
