Ten krótki, lecz głęboko mistyczny hymn kontempluje Pataṅgę, „skrzydlatą” zasadę słoneczną, jako ukryte Słońce świadomości postrzegane przez widzów przez serce i umysł. Łączy ptaka-słońce z māyā Asury (suwerenną mocą kształtowania), Marīcīmi (promieniami oświecenia) oraz z Vāk (natchnionym Słowem) strzeżonym na stacji Ṛty (porządku prawdy).

पतंगमक्तमसुरस्य मायया हृदा पश्यन्ति मनसा विपश्चितः । समुद्रे अन्तः कवयो वि चक्षते मरीचीनां पदमिच्छन्ति वेधसः ॥

Skrzydlaty niesie Słowo w umyśle; Gandharwa wyrzekł je w łonie rzeczy. To lśniące, słoneczne natchnienie widzący strzegą i piją na stacji Rty, Prawdy-Porządku.
