दूरं किल प्रथमा जग्मुरासामिन्द्रस्य याः प्रसवे सस्रुरापः । क्व स्विदग्रं क्व बुध्न आसामापो मध्यं क्व वो नूनमन्तः ॥
dūráṃ kíla prathamā́ jagmur āsām índrasya yā́ḥ prasavé sasrúr ā́paḥ | kvà svíd ágraṃ kvà budhná āsām ā́po mádhyaṃ kvà vo nūnám ántaḥ ||
Daleko zaiste odeszły pierwsze wody, te, które popłynęły na podnietę Indry. Gdzie jest ich początek, gdzie ich fundament? O Wody, gdzie jest wasza środkowa część, gdzie teraz jest wasz koniec wewnątrz?
