प्र सु विश्वान्रक्षसो धक्ष्यग्ने भवा यज्ञानामभिशस्तिपावा । अथा वह सोमपतिं हरिभ्यामातिथ्यमस्मै चकृमा सुदाव्ने ॥
prá sú viśvā́n rákṣaso dhákṣy agne bhávā yajñā́nām abhiśastipā́vā | áthā vaha sómapatiṃ háribhyām ātíthyam asmai cakṛma sudā́vne ||
Spal, o Agni, wszystkie siły ciemności; stań się oczyszczycielem, który chroni nasze ofiary przed wrogim atakiem. Następnie przyprowadź Pana Somy wraz z jego płowymi rumakami; dla niego, szczodrego dawcy, przygotowaliśmy gościnę ofiary.
