Opanowany Rama odłożył pomyślny parasol i ozdobione wachlarze; odprawiwszy swych sług, rydwan, mieszczan i innych, powstrzymał swój smutek w sercu, opanował zmysły i wszedł do komnaty matki, by przekazać niepocieszającą wieść.
Self-possessed Rama held back his sorrow within his mind, abandoned theauspicious umbrella, well-decorated fans and chariot, sent away kinsmen, city-dwellers and others and entered his mother's residence to break the unpleasant news.
True nobility is shown by mastery of senses and willingness to relinquish honor-symbols for dharma.
Cultivates vairāgya and emotional regulation; model for delivering difficult truths without cruelty.
Setting aside royal emblems mirrors vairāgya; the self (Atman) remains steady while external upādhis (status, insignia) are relinquished.
Gītā-like nikāma-karma resonance: acting with restraint, not driven by grief; also echoes of 5vetā5vatara+ inner mastery (indriya-sayama).
Vālmīki Rāmāyaƺ 2.20-2.21 (Rma+ approach to KauŚlyā and disclosure); Rāmacaritamānasa Ayodhyākāƺ (Rma+ renunciation of royal signs before meeting mother)
Royal insignia symbolism found across Dharma5āstra and Itihāsa: chatra and cāmara as markers of kƺtriya authority
2.19.34-2.21 (sequence: renunciation entry revelation to KauŚlyā)

Solemn
Mandra-sa with gentle ascent to madhyama; controlled cadence reflecting restraint
Dharma is disciplined conduct under suffering: Rama restrains senses and public display, and chooses a considerate, orderly way to inform his mother of painful truth.
After the coronation is thwarted and exile looms, Rama dismisses royal paraphernalia and attendants and goes privately to his mother to communicate the bad news.
Self-mastery and compassion (ātmavatva, indriya-nigraha), paired with truthfulness in conveying difficult realities.
