इक्ष्वाकोस्तु सुत श्रीमान्कुक्षिरेवेति विश्रुतः ।
कुक्षेरथात्मजो वीरो विकुक्षिरुदपद्यत ॥८॥
ikṣvākos tu sutaḥ śrīmān kukṣir eveti viśrutaḥ |
kukṣer athātmajo vīro vikukṣir udapadyata ||8||
Ikṣvāku miał sławnego syna, znanego imieniem Kukṣi; a potem Kukṣi urodził się bohaterski Vikukṣi.
Ikshvaku had an illustrious son, well-known as Kukshi and to Kukshi was born the heroic Vikukshi.
