स तस्यां जनयामास मनुं स्वायम्भुवं प्रभुः । तस्मात् संभाविता सृष्टिः प्रजानां ब्रह्मणा पुरा ॥ २.१८ ॥
sa tasyāṃ janayāmāsa manuṃ svāyambhuvaṃ prabhuḥ | tasmāt saṃbhāvitā sṛṣṭiḥ prajānāṃ brahmaṇā purā || 2.18 ||
ସେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ତାହାରେ ସ୍ୱାୟମ୍ଭୁବ ମନୁଙ୍କୁ ଜନ୍ମ ଦେଲେ; ତାଙ୍କଠାରୁ ପୁରାତନ କାଳରେ ବ୍ରହ୍ମା ପ୍ରଜାମାନଙ୍କ ସୃଷ୍ଟିକୁ ପ୍ରବର୍ତ୍ତିତ କଲେ।
