The Harm of Destroying a Grove and the Merit of Tree-Planting as Pūrta-Dharma
देव्य ऊचुः ॥ अप्रष्टव्यं महाभाग दैवः सर्वेषु कारणम् ॥ कालात्मकः स भगवान् भुज्यते सुकृतं यतः ॥
devya ūcuḥ || apraṣṭavyaṃ mahābhāga daivaḥ sarveṣu kāraṇam || kālātmakaḥ sa bhagavān bhujyate sukṛtaṃ yataḥ ||
Para devī berkata: “Wahai yang mulia, hal ini bukan sesuatu yang patut ditanya; daiva (takdir) ialah sebab dalam segala perkara. Bhagavān yang hakikat-Nya adalah Kala (Waktu) menganugerahkan buah kebajikan untuk dinikmati—maka (demikianlah).”
