तं गीर्भिर्वाचमीङ्खयं पुनानं वासयामसि । सोमं जनस्य गोपतिम् ॥
Transliteration
taṃ gī́rbhir vā́cam-īṅkhayáṃ punānáṃ vāsayāmasi | sóma jánasya gópatim ||
Translation
Dengan kidung-kidung ilham dan kata, kami menyelubunginya—Soma Sang Penyuci, yang menggerakkan Vāc (Sabda); kami menegakkannya sebagai tuan dan penjaga sinar-sinar cahaya umat, “lembu-lembu” pengetahuan.
