Transliteration
bṛhád indrā́ya gāyata máruto vṛtrahántamam | yéna jyótir ájanayan ṛtā́vṛdho deváṃ devā́ya jā́gṛvi ||
Translation
Nyanyikanlah madah yang agung bagi Indra, wahai Marut, bagi pembunuh Vṛtra yang paling perkasa. Dengan-Nya kamu melahirkan Cahaya; kamu yang meneguhkan Ṛta—bangunkanlah Sang Dewa, demi ketuhanan di dalam diri kami.
