सुदेवो असि वरुण यस्य ते सप्त सिन्धवः । अनुक्षरन्ति काकुदं सूर्म्यं सुषिरामिव ॥
Transliteration
sudévo asi varuṇa yásya te saptá síndhavaḥ | anukṣáranti kākúdaṃ sū́rmyaṃ suṣirā́m iva ||
Translation
Engkau sungguh ilahi, wahai Varuṇa, yang tujuh sungainya mengalir menurut rabungmu—ketinggianmu yang berombak—seperti aliran melalui laluan yang tersalur rapi; demikian arus yang tertib bergerak dalam-Mu tanpa cela.
