उत त्वा नमसा वयं होतर्वरेण्यक्रतो । अग्ने समिद्भिरीमहे ॥
Transliteration
utá tvā námasā vayáṃ hótar váreṇya-krato | ágne samíd-bhir īmahe ||
Translation
Dan dengan penuh hormat kami mencari engkau, wahai Hotṛ, wahai Agni yang berkehendak pilihan; dengan kayu penyala kami memanggilmu masuk—agar yajña batin dipimpin dengan benar.
