Sukta 8.1
वस्याँ इन्द्रासि मे पितुरुत भ्रातुरभुञ्जतः । माता च मे छदयथः समा वसो वसुत्वनाय राधसे ॥
vasyā́ṃ indra asi me pitúr utá bhrā́tur abhuñjátaḥ | mātā́ ca me chadayathaḥ samā́ vaso vasutvanā́ya rā́dhase ||
Wahai Indra, engkau lebih kukasihi daripada ayahku dan daripada saudara yang turut menikmati; engkau juga seperti ibu yang menaungi dan melindungi. Wahai Vasu, bersamalah aku demi memperoleh kekayaan yang sejati—kepenuhan wujud dan kebahagiaan yang sempurna.
