Sukta 7.61
प्रोरोर्मित्रावरुणा पृथिव्याः प्र दिव ऋष्वाद्बृहतः सुदानू । स्पशो दधाथे ओषधीषु विक्ष्वृधग्यतो अनिमिषं रक्षमाणा ॥
próroḥ mitrāvaruṇā pṛthivyā́ḥ prá divá ṛṣvā́d bṛhatáḥ sudānū | spáśo dadhāthe óṣadhīṣu víkṣv ṛ́dhag yató ánimiṣaṃ rákṣamāṇā ||
Dari Bumi yang luas dan dari Langit yang tinggi lagi maha-besar, wahai Mitra dan Varuṇa, para pemberi yang melimpah; kamu menempatkan para pengawas (spaśa) di antara tumbuh-tumbuhan dan di antara manusia—berasingan pada tempatnya—menjaga dengan waspada tanpa berkelip.
