वयं ते त इन्द्र ये च देव स्तवन्त शूर ददतो मघानि । यच्छा सूरिभ्य उपमं वरूथं स्वाभुवो जरणामश्नवन्त ॥

vayáṃ te ta indra yé ca deva stávanta śūra dádataḥ maghā́ni | yáchā sūríbhya upa-máṃ varū́thaṃ sv-ā́bhuvo jaraṇā́m aśnavanta ||

Kami—dan mereka yang memuji-Mu, wahai Indra, wahai dewa, wahai wira—yang mengurniakan anugerah kelimpahan: kurniakanlah kepada para ṛṣi-penguasa perlindungan yang tertinggi, agar dengan keberadaan mereka sendiri (svābhū) mereka mencapai daya untuk bertahan, menua, dan matang dalam kerja.
