Sukta 6.52
किमङ्ग त्वा ब्रह्मणः सोम गोपां किमङ्ग त्वाहुरभिशस्तिपां नः । किमङ्ग नः पश्यसि निद्यमानान्ब्रह्मद्विषे तपुषिं हेतिमस्य ॥
kím aṅgá tvā bráhmaṇaḥ soma gopā́ṃ kím aṅgá tvāhur abhiśastipā́ṃ naḥ | kím aṅgá naḥ páśyasi nidyámānān brahma-dvíṣe tápuṣiṃ hétim asyá ||
Mengapa sesungguhnya mereka menamakan engkau, wahai Soma, penjaga brahman? Mengapa mereka menyebut engkau pelindung kami daripada kutukan yang memusuhi? Mengapa engkau memandang kami ketika kami dicela—supaya terhadap pembenci sabda suci engkau melontarkan senjata yang membakar, daya hentammu?
