आ वामश्वासः सुयुजो वहन्तु यतरश्मय उप यन्त्वर्वाक् । घृतस्य निर्णिगनु वर्तते वामुप सिन्धवः प्रदिवि क्षरन्ति ॥

Transliteration

ā́ vāṃ áśvāsas su-yújo vahantu yatá-raśmaya úpa yantu arvā́k | ghṛtásya nirníg ánu vartate vā́m úpa síndhavaḥ pra-dívi kṣaranti ||

Translation

Moga kuda-kuda kamu yang terpasang elok membawa kamu ke mari; moga tali-kendali yang menuntun ke arah yang benar mendekat, bergerak menuju kami. Jubah bercahaya daripada ghṛta (ghee) mengiringi kamu; sungai-sungai kelimpahan mengalir kepada kamu, memancar di langit yang tinggi.
