Transliteration
tasmā́d yajñā́t sarva-húta ṛ́caḥ sāmā́ni jajñire | chándāṃsi jajñire tasmā́d yájus tasmā́d ajāyata ||
Translation
Daripada yajña persembahan-segenapnya itu lahirlah rangkap-rangkap Ṛc dan nyanyian-nyanyian Sāman; daripadanya lahir pula chandas, metrum-metrum pembawa Sabda; dan daripadanya juga Yajus—rumusan-rumusan suci—menjelma nyata.
