Sukta 10.89
आपान्तमन्युस्तृपलप्रभर्मा धुनिः शिमीवाञ्छरुमाँ ऋजीषी । सोमो विश्वान्यतसा वनानि नार्वागिन्द्रं प्रतिमानानि देभुः ॥
āpā́ntamanyuḥ tr̥pálaprabharmā dhúniḥ śimīvā́ñ chárumāṁ r̥jīṣī́ | sómo víśvāny atasā́ vánāni nā́rvāg índraṁ pratímānāni debhuḥ ||
Dengan amarah yang sampai ke hujung, dengan perisai tiga lapis daripada daya—mengguntur, meluru, bersenjata lembing, dia yang berdebu keemasan. Soma tidak membentuk sebarang ukuran yang dapat berhadapan dengan Indra; seluruh rimba kewujudan digoncang oleh daya pendorong itu.
