नि षु सीद गणपते गणेषु त्वामाहुर्विप्रतमं कवीनाम् । न ऋते त्वत्क्रियते किं चनारे महामर्कं मघवञ्चित्रमर्च ॥

Transliteration

ní ṣú sīda gaṇapate gaṇéṣu tvā́m āhur vípratamaṃ kavīnā́m | ná ṛté tvát kriyate kíṃ canā́re mahā́m arkaṃ maghavāñ citrám arca ||

Translation

Duduklah dengan teguh, wahai Ganapati, di tengah-tengah para gana; Engkau mereka sebut yang paling terilham di antara para kavi. Tanpa Engkau tiada sesuatu pun terlaksana, sama ada dekat atau jauh. Wahai Maghavan, dendangkanlah madah yang agung dan bercahaya, kidung kekuatan.
